A Victorian 1886 Elkington & Co silver plated glass claret jug with etched grapevine decoration and with silver plate mounts decorated with fruiting grapevines and Bacchic masks on a matted ground; the hinged cover with a lion holding an engraved shield. 28cm h. Clearly marked.
Some wear to the plate, majority of glass is clear, slightly cloudy in the base. Very slight movement in the hinge.
